after 2 weeks of turning 20th, finally i managed to squeeze my time for this blog update. it's not going to be a long one though. too many things happened but i only have that little time to spend here.

to be compared to last year, this year's was rather a simple one. it's all good though. spent my birthday with my family members by having lunch outside, at simpang bedok to be exact. my day went on as per normal after which. i celebrated my belated 20th birthday with Safiah, Diyana and Reyme last week. we went to the punggol waterway since all of us never been there. that place looks pretty normal actually but you can consider taking photos there if you can take really good photos and if you want greenery scenery. it was a short meet up but i still enjoyed that short time spent with them. i love all the presents that they gave me too!.

on 29th January 2012 12am, my dearest DMIT MCs called to wish me and also sang for me a song. i was so touched. Haikal also gave me a call and sang for me :'). the feeling was really really nice ^^. another friend called in the afternoon to wish me too. for the record, i've got 3 phone calls just to wish me birthday on that day. before, i had none. hahahaha.

thanks a lot everyone for wishing, celebrating, singing for me. really appreciated all the effort and time spent. xie xie ni! :D

for now, i have to get back to reality and do all my work. roller coaster rides for the past few weeks, due to assignment datelines, test, exam. hate it a lot but i don't mind another cylon ride at the USS. hahahahaha!

i seriously hate it when whatever work i am doing is not up to my standard. yes, i am very particular about every single thing when it comes to work. i will keep on nagging and complaining until i feel that the work produced is alright. but if i couldn't care less about it then wouldn't it be better if i don't even submit my work at all? maybe i'm way too slacked now. or maybe i'm thinking too much and keep worrying about things everytime. maybe... how i wished i wasn't brought up this way, feeling inferior about everything.

this feeling totally sucks. not feeling motivated at all....

internship? dilemma. :(

well, i've been thinking about this since yesterday and still undecided. i'm talking about my internship. well, i know that i couldn't really choose the company or type of work to do but i still may get a chance to decide of doing internship in school if i want to.

why school? in my opinion i guess i will be able to learn more. my lecturer already told us roughly what we are going to do if we were to choose school. the staff will be able to teach us some things, and to add on, one of my lecturer is also going to be there if we need guidance. furthermore, this will somehow benefit my FYP. if i'm going to do something related to this intern, then life would be easier for me since i'll have more knowledge on the codings. i was also thinking that if i really choose school then it would be a bit more convenient for me. ok, this is just a bonus point because i know it's stupid to make decisions based on this. well, if my DipPlus is really gonna be on next sem, then wouldn't it be really convinient for me? like, i can go straight to class after work and not to worry about being too late for class.

on the other hand, i don't mind working in a company. at least i'm able to experience more on the working life environment, meet different kind of people and also different kind of stress, that is if there is. i will be able to dress differently too(urm.. actually not really, i'd rather wear whatever i wear to school. haha). and of course, at least i can insert another company name in my resume.

currently, i'm more towards the doing internship in school but i'm still worried if i'm gonna make a wrong decision. omg. someone help me. i need more advise. i guess i'll have till Monday to think :(

Advanced Birthday Present! :D

firstly, i would like to thank this guy above here for the advanced birthday treat yesterday! it was awesome and i really had so much fun!

anyway, Haikal and i went to USS yesterday. we spent about 8 hours there and i somehow still feel that it wasn't enough. i love the transformers ride the most! my very first 3d ride ever, and i was actually very impressed. managed to experience it again the second time but somehow the impact wasn't as great as the first. nevertheless, awesome ride. despite all the never ending complains that Haikal had to endure from me, i also enjoyed the Cylon roller coaster ride! it was quite nerve wrecking initially but that feeling disappeared once it was already our turn. took the ride two times and Haikal insisted to sit on the first lane on our second ride. actually, it was a way much better experience and i'm really thankful that he 'forced' me to sit on the first lane. other rides were actually very fun too but both 2 were the highlight of the day. the most enjoyable part was actually to spend time with him for more than 12 hours. thank you so much for the day Haikal! :D

i didn't take pictures there though. i still feel very weird to take any pictures whenever i'm out with him but hopefully i wont feel so awkward anymore next time. :)

Finally a decent break?

My laptop just gave me a heart attack just now. I hope it won't die on me just yet. Long break, which also means the service centre won't be operating during the CNY break.

I felt totally relieved after submitting my video resume assignment to my lecturer on thursday. I've been spending too much time on that, that i really had to abandon my resting time away. So, i'm seriously glad that it's Chinese New Year this sunday. Despite having the amount of workload weighing on my mind, i know i would have more time to rest my body.

Despite the overwhelming pressures, i'm extremely glad to have my friends beside me.

Firstly, my classmates. We have been there for each other whenever we need help for our assignments. I think, i am just lucky to have them. Others would have just ignored us and only focus on the things that will benefit them.

I am extremely thankful to have my DMIT club committee with me everytime. Despite the fact that we have meeting almost every week, i guess i spent quite a lot of quality time with them. People like Xin Ying and Elaine has been my good friend ever since we started to work as a team. Needless to say, others also show concern everytime they sense something is not right at that point of time. DMIT 2011/2012 MC is like a family to me.

My other friends has been caring towards me also. Despite the fact that everyone is busy with our own school stuffs, we still managed to find time to meet each other when there is a need to. You guys are just wonderful.

I love my family members for being extremely understanding. There are times when they mentioned that i have been spending a lot of time in school. However, they are not even against or show dissatisfactory towards my forever-tight-schedule. Can't imagine my life if they were against it.

Last but not least, i would like to thank someone for always been there for me. He will always be there cheering when i am feeling down, pampering me, and do anything to make me happy. Nothing can ever replace that. Thanks a lot Haikal. :)

I had this with my classmates yesterday. Maybe somehow after I had those fish and chips at fish&co, I had high expectation for it. Basicly, it is just a normal fish and chips but it's cheese fries instead with a bit of seasonings. And the cheese used taste similar to the one from Long John Silver. But I guess it's a good try. :)

new year eve. i managed to spend my time with clique again after so long! anyway, it was our virgin attempt prawning but it's like complete FAIL. hahah. i think most of us were overdressed for it but we must still look presentable since we planned to have our dinner at Lau Pa Sat. i don't think i was overdressed though. i wear the same clothes that i wear for school. but still, it was a good experience. hopefully i won't behave as dumb as i were the next time :D

i guess it's time to bid 2011 goodbye. whatever happened this year, 2011 is still a good year. hopefully 2012 will be a better year for me. :)

so just now, i was randomly going to DIxM page since my lecturer wrote on facebook that SP updated the new page quite recently. i was actually searching for the micro-site(something like a website) that was done by Shannon and Amalina.....

....BUT i saw this.

so finally we managed to see the result of being a 'model' for the day. anyway, since i'm already at this topic, i guess i should share what i feel and my experience being a Digital Media student. after all, despite the heavy workload and hectic schedule, i really enjoy being in my course. i've always love doing things related to computer softwares and websites before entering polytechnic. i also do want to learn a bit of programming. thus, i guess i have made a good decision coming here. till now, i don't really know the career options that are suitable for me though but i hope by the end of my poly life, i am able to roughly gauge my strength and i'm gonna pursue my future career based on that.

but of course, interest doesn't equals to ability. a lot more to improve but i'll see what happens later.

ice camp? many people gave didn't really enjoyed themselves as much as they were in any other camps they attended. of course, they had already have a certain expectation on how camps should be like. however, with the time constraint and some other circumstances, i think most of the organising committee, helpers and group leaders performed quite well. of course there are some mistakes along the way but seriously, most of them learn from the mistakes they made. well, whether or not people enjoyed the camp is kinda subjective i guess. and whether or not overall this camp is a success in people's eyes or otherwise, i guess it does not really matter much. personally, i think i did enjoy this camp at certain point of time and i really made a lot of friends from other schools. i apologise to those campers who does not enjoy this camp for a single bit and also to those who did not have the chance to make sufficient new friends.

so finally, it's the term break now, the time that almost everyone was impatiently looking forward to. yes, including me. but then again, it's not really a holiday for me.

assignment. assignment. project. project. event. event. event.

with all those to squeeze in 3 weeks, i don't even think there will be a sufficient time to spend my time with my friends. i seriously miss a lot of people now, mainly my clique, ex-schoolmates, ex-colleagues, relatives. and you know, it doesn't help when those people who asked you out keep saying this to you, "find time". that sudden urge to spam all the vulgarities right in their face even after explaining the situation to them. you be in my shoes and i dare you to say that again. i mean, i would definitely agree to meet them if i have the time. but of course, if u asked me out for more then 5 times and i keep rejecting means it's a hint. a hint to give up. i'm sure you guys have better things to do.

anyway, it's coming to the end of the year 2011. several things are weighing my mind, apart of those listed above. the incident that took place at least a year ago. well, i thought it's gonna be a good month but i was disappointed somehow. i guess some things are there to stay even when your mind strongly objects, like memories. but if i were to hold on to those memories, thinking who to blame and stay on that same track, then i won't move on. the things that i have to do now are to appreciate every single thing that i have currently, learn from the past and plan ahead.

i think i'm done talking but before i end this, i came across this video that was shared by many people on facebook.

i was kind of mindfucked after watching this. i have that same reaction like those other woman in that video. man and woman can be just friends but they cannot be just friends. hahahaha, ok forget it.

a part of me was thinking that this semester's rather a slack one but when i think about it again, i actually have lesser time for myself, family and friends. well, having said that, i still do enjoy myself, being around people i'm comfortable with. at least, i'm not stressed up with things that i don't even wanna think(apart of assignments of course) of. anyway, i have been enjoying my time a lot lately, especially with that someone. i guess people have been seeing us together a lot lately but it's ok, it doesn't matter because at the end of the day, it's all about my happiness and not about them. people can talk but it's just temporary. :)

today was quite a busy day for me i must say. everything passed pretty fast for me. anyway, it was my virgin attempt going to hard rock cafe today, thanks to my cousins who performed. i think everyone performed well there, considering their age. some even performed when they are still very young, like 6 years old? looking forward to next year, if they are still performing. one thing that i can't deny, i think all of the performers' parents are really2 cool. not everyone who is passionate about this kind of stuffs able to join music school.

school's getting even more hectic over time. i just had my accounting mst a few days back and i think i performed really bad. well, it's gonna determine on whether i should continue with my dipplus or otherwise. sorry, this blog post is too boring already. hahah.

Diy's Belated 19th

finally, we managed to celebrate Diyana's belated birthday just now. well, our initial plan was to visit zoo but somehow we ended up at Science Centre instead. ok, partly because i have exactly 4 free tickets that's due by 30^th Nov.

we did a birthday bash for diyana at the voiddeck, somewhere near her house. i'm actually quite aware that we shouldn't do those kind of things there since the cleaner had to clear up the mess. soon after we are done with the celebration, the bangla worker came to us, and sort of told-us-off. of course we didn't take him seriously but we DID tried to help by sweeping a bit, and ran off after that. all in all, i enjoyed doing the bash despite being told off. in fact, we are still making fun of that worker. hehe.

Housewarming on a Deepavali

it was Deepavali yesterday and at the same time, my sister had her housewarming too. everything was extremely hectic i must say. in fact, it was one of the events that really tire me out. despite the unpleasant things that happened to me towards the end, i guess it was a success for my sister.

anyway, i may be taking a long time updating my next blog entry. life's really really hectic now, as expected.

guess why i am still awake at this hour despite the fact that it's the first day of school today?? well, my first lesson officially starts at 1pm later. i have a mix feeling about school now. like, i'm kinda excited to meet my classmates and eat the food at the foodcourts again but on the other hand, i know this sem will not be the same as last sem, in fact it's gonna get tougher. whatever it is, i hope i'm able to handle all of these workload. but of course, on my part, i have to discipline myself. say.... not to sleep this late anymore? hahah!

after doing assignment in school yesterday, i've decidede to crash to marvelous banana's(one of the DMIT 2011 FOC group) chalet outing, since it was at coasta sands. unexpectedly, i had fun and get along quite well with them although they wasn't my family for FOC. they actually persuaded me to stay overnight but i wasn't prepared and didn't inform my parents earlier bout it. oh well, hopefully i will have this kind of gathering soon with the people i'm close with :)

i know there are a lot of these kind of shit at tumblr. the most popular answer that they gave me when i ask why they use it, "because it depicts exactly how they feel". that's the main reason why i chose not to continue tumblr-ing. it made me think a lot, and in that process, that stabbing-kind-of-feeling is not cool. what's the point of reminiscence the bitter memories if it won't do me good. damn, sorry for being emotional now.

went to town with safiah and diyana today. actually, we wanted to shop for some things but in the end, we only brought home a bloated tummy instead of clothes and bags. but seriously, the clothes just turn us off. we managed to visit h&m just now. seriously, what's so good with that shop? i keep seeing people talking about it, saying how good the things are and stuffs but we couldn't see anything good points there. at least i really tried but no, nothing caught my eyes. anyway, we had early dinner at fish&co, located at ion. i really have to confess something. the exact same food that i bought from the tampines mall outlet tastes better. i don't know if it's only my tastebud. nevertheless, it's still nice, at least i prefer this than swenson's fish and chips. we had our dessert at pasir ris mcdonalds before heading home.

overall, i had fun with my girls. we were listing down the activities we can do on our subsequent meet-ups. i got pretty excited talking about that and i really hope whatever we are going to do next will go smoothly :)

after days, i finally managed to catch johnny english reborn! been receiving a lot of positive feedbacks on this movie which makes me even more excited. now, the next movie that i wanna watch is friends with benefits. however, i don't think i'll have the leisure to watch any movie anymore. this is life for those who still get assignments during long break. sucks.

anyway, went to school earlier today to attend a lomography lesson. well, despite the fact that i only gave 5% attention during class, i think i've learnt something. i guess i had fun camwhoring with the girls just now. :)

i've been wanting to try this social media platform since awhile ago, but only to realise that i can already create an account last night. and so, i did without having a single knowledge about it. i got pretty lost initially. like, "what the hell is circles?" and "wow, so i can start hang-ing out here? O_O ". but actually, it's not that difficult to get the hang of it. well, to me, Google+ seems like Facebook+Twitter+some-new-added-features. all in all, i think Google+ is quite a good innovative social media platform.

and of course, like twitter, it's never fun to use Google+ having only little friends. so to whoever who is reading this and do have an account(or parhaps, start using it?) do add me up in your circles, and i will definitely do the same too :D >> My Google+ << .

i hate it when people endlessly complain that they are ugly or fat. one must really appreciate how they look like, as many others didn't get to experience other good things that they enjoyed and if she doesn't really like how she looks like, she can just put in effort to make herself look better and most importantly, to boost her self-esteem. i wasn't born pretty at all but nevertheless, i was happy with my life. don't mistook this as self-praising because all i can say is i look better now, for sure.

Raya outing with DMIT SP mates

today, i went out with most of my DMIT mates for raya visiting. not all were able to make it due to some reasons but all in all, i pretty much enjoyed the outing. went to 6 houses from east all the way to the west side. by far, i guess my feet suffered most today with all the distance travelled and if everyday's like today, i would already grow severely overweight. hahaha. and no, i'm not complaining, it's just a comment :P

this week has been really busy despite the fact that it's already holiday now. for the first time ever, i've been to pulau ubin and overnight there. putting aside and not taking account of my health, it was really a good experience.

what i really felt for this week is like, i have just survived walking on a hot, rough road barefooted. i realised many things regarding friendship which proves my point on why i chose not to trust anyone. i must and shall not really write a lot on this issue but i really hope something will knock into their senses. having ego is good but using other excuses just to protect that ego and pride is just cruel. if it takes for something unpleasant to happen and make them realise, then i really hope that will happen. yes, #callmemean

currently, my body doesn't feel right. throat's hurting, body's heaty. and for once, all i want to do at this hour is to sleep. i wouldn't really mind if it's like any other day but i hope i will survive for tomorrow. it's going to be a long day and i hope everything planned will proceed smoothly.

anyway, it was my second day of visiting today. unlike any other day, my elder sister was not with me. despite saying so, Alhamdulillah, today was way much better than yesterday although i was bored 50% of the time. i did camwhore with my *ehem* actual *ehem* raya clothes today but i decided not to show it here.

it was splash awards ceremony last monday, 29th August and firstly, i would like to thank everyone who has helped me with the facebook 'like'. my team did not win anything on that day, but it was a good experience. and don't worry, i did not feel sad at all, not even the slightest bit. in fact, i had fun with my friends. last but not least, congrats Daryl, Yan Wen and Dexter for getting the third place! :D

i had a better day after which actually. i met up with my elder sister to have our last break fast of the year at Fish & Co. i had my virgin attempt eating the new york fish & chips and i literally felt in love with it on the first bite. seriously, if you both love fish & chips and are a cheese lover, you must!!! really try it.

and i actually went to geylang for the first time this year with my family/sisters. we were lucky when uncle came to our place to exchange some dishes, and at the same time, he offered us a ride there (seriously thankful as it saved us from the long bus ride!). i guess my purpose for going there was just for the sake of going. damn, couldn't stand the crowd. and that's gonna be my first and last time going there on raya's eve.

finally i'm done with all the assignments that are supposed to be submitted this week. as must as i want to start enjoying myself, i can't. besides, another assignment is due on the 2nd day of raya and i have not started on anything yet.

anyway, this week was rather very rough for me. i was looking forward to this week initially but regretted it somehow now. maybe it all started with expectations which was a big mistake. i thought i was going to have so much fun, and yesterday was one of the worst day i've had. there's only 1 thing that could bring my self-esteem THAT low. only one thing.

i'm better of having no expectations and thus, i'm no longer looked forward to raya.

something just got me thinking when i had this conversation with someone. i realised that my life is really boring. to be frank, i still don't have any aim in life. i am in Singapore Polytechnic, taking a diploma in Digital Media. i am still unsure if i am going to have a job related to this course. the common question that people always question me is, "do u want to go uni?" i don't think i am able to even step my feet there but even if i can, i don't see a point or need in going there if i don't have an aim. being hardworking itself is really insufficient. and yes, that's what people usually potray me as, someone who's hardworking. but seriously, i still couldn't get myself to set any goals in life till now. i don't know if my bitter childhood experience is still affecting me now but i can't blame that either.

this somehow sucks. it's like i'm living my life, without being excited or looking forward to anything. yes, nothing at all.

recently, my classmates and i had to join splash awards for one of our assignment and some of us were shortlisted to 'Stage B', including for my team. i wasn't expecting this but since my team is already in it, we shall give the best until the results day itself, which falls on 29^th August.

basicly, we were supposed to make an iPhone application about Singapore's history. the problem was that, learning history is boring for most people and we were suppose to make learning more interesting. thus, my team has came up with 'History Mania'. it's a quiz application cater to the lower secondary students, and the highlights for my application are the mascot guide,

and the costume rewards after they have pass the quiz.

after which, they will be able to have a picture taken with the costumes they've earned and share it at facebook, something like this.

it's been some time since i revealed my bare face. hahahaha. (ok, it isn't completely bare since i have my fringe covering 1/2 of my face.)

and it has been some time since i updated my blog. O_O

like before, i'm still super hectic with assignments and school stuffs. i was surprised that last week marked the last week of Year 2, Sem 1 for my class. usually, we even have classes on the weeks where we have my exams too. i can't really express how sucky it were, but yes, to the extent of no-sleep and skipping classes. tsk. people often label my course as something way-much-easier-and-relaxed to be compared with their course and i swear, it's annoying the shit outta me.

anyway, as you know, it's already past 2 weeks of Ramadhan. it seems like everything happens too fast, and without realising, i'm gonna listen to takbir raya the next day. that is the moment when all muslimin and muslimah is going to feel satisfied after 1 month of sincere fasting. yes, i am waiting for that moment and for the first time after so long i'm gonna announce this. i'm looking forward to raya. well, prolly because i've been tied down with assignments for uber long that i didn't have the chance to socialise. I MISS EVERYONE.

and omg. i haven't been to the bazaar yet. and i have the feeling that i won't be going there?? noooooo...........! :(

recently i've just finished watching Dream High. it was one of the korean drama that i love, amongst ALL that i liked. i guess by now, i've watched countless of them. i remembered admiring one of the actor, lee min ho, for his charm but i'm not that into him though. however, this guy(kim soo hyun) really caught my attention the moment i saw him acting. he reminded me of someone. someone that i used to like. i guess from then on, i really admire this guy here. he is really good looking and the best facial features that i love is his eyes, followed by his lips. dayum! can i have someone who look like him for my future boyfriend please...? hahahaha! fat hope lah syidah, you are not even close to hot. having said so, don't stereotype me please. i'm not easy to please thus having me writing bout actors here is really something.

anyway, as you can see since from the pictures in my last blog entry, my hair is rather straight now. yes, i've rebonded it, a soft rebonding that is. i was very annoyed with my hair condition as it easily gets messy even without me trying. sigh. so, this is one of the latest pictures that i took with my messiest hair condition.

ok, seriously, just look at that frizzy hair. i have people telling me about my hair condition quite a number of times, and it really saddens me, like so much. all i want now is actually a managable hair condition. thus, i invested almost all the cash that i have on it. no regrets though, i'm happy with the result and i hope that it can last for quite long. this picture below was taken like 2 or 3 days after being rebonded. hahhaha. super damn straight can? but it isn't what i want, it's simply flat.

currently, it looks like this(below). i really like how it is now actually. at least it doesn't look THAT flat anymore. while others are hoping a more volumised hair, here i am, wishing for a soft sleek natural hair. this is life i guess.

my dad called home last night, informing us that my uncle has passed away. exactly 3 months ago, on a friday, his wife also has left the world. to be frank, i did not really converse much with my uncle, the last i remembered talking to him was last year during fasting month(just fyi, next month is already fasting month :O ) when i visited his wife in the hospital. that was also when i 'fainted' in the ICU. it was my first time experiencing that though. he, together with my mom were the one who helped me. little did i know that he is leaving this world that fast. May his soul rest in peace, that's what i am hoping for.

it's mom's birthday tomorrow. she's turning 52 i supposed. i hope i'm able to keep good memories with her. watching everything that is happening around me scary, it is really scary. last but not least, i hope she will be blessed with everlasting happiness.

i really hate the idea of feeling empty. even food CAN'T solve this problem.

since i have not been updated my blog for quite a long time, then i guess it's time to update something short. currently i feel like breaking down. i just dislike designing. maybe not the whole part but the part when i have to think of ideas. so, i have been thinking of ideas since yesterday and i feel like none's working well. but i guess i shouldn't give up that easily. i shall try until before i go to sleep today.

anyway today i just realised that it has been 2 years since i last been in a relationship. i'm having mixed feelings about that actually. i'm quite pretty happy that i am able to survive without having a 'boyfriend' with me but at the same time, i'm kind of disappointed. almost all the guys that i met/know during this period of time, disappoint me. i have friends who keeps asking me why i am not in any relationship for so long. but i guess i really have no answer for that. it's just not the time yet.

i really hope my eldest sister is doing alright now. just a few days ago, my family and i got a happy news from her but it's gone now. she had to go through operation today and i hope everything going to be fine.

p/s: sometimes i guess i really needed someone who is able to make me smile even at my worst of time. that someone, i shall just wait patiently.

after so long, finally met nyla again, thanks to my super busy schedule. helped her a bit for her f&n coursework at starbucks. five hours zoomed pretty fast i guess. managed to complete a harry potter movie while nyla was working on her assignment. had our dinner at banquet after a long day after which and of course, i bought my all-time-favourite noodle, ban mian!

anyway, i experienced something new at starbucks. a gentleman, a customer i suppose, actually told the manager to hand me a cheesecake after he went out of the place. i guess i was still in the toilet at that time. it's a waste that i couldn't thank him in person. this somehow really made my day and for some reason the whole journey back home, i was wondering who that gentleman was. to be frank, i would personally find this seriously sweet if someone i really like do this for me. but to whoever you are, seriously thanks a lot. :)

currently, i feel contented. despite the fact that i have not been touching my assignments yet, i am still happy. however, i'm done watching two korean dramas in a week. not many people that i know shares the same interest as me, some even critises the things that i love to do.

to be honest, without people even telling me, i know that i take life too seriously. i don't dare to break the rule since, that is what i think is right to do. even when i start doing my assignments, i will ensure that quality is there even if i only managed to finish them within a short period of time. when i set my mind onto something, i will stay adamant and there's only a slight possibility that whatever they say is able to change my mind.

the whole point is that, those things i love to do are the only thing that's able to distract me from reality. yes, that is what i'm trying to convey. those love stories that i watch from korean drama are like fairytales in my life and killing enemies or characters, like those in games, i know i can't do that in reality. too many things that happened, really affected me a lot. life isn't that easy as it seems. however, many put on a brave front to continue surviving and i shall do the same. i guess i'll have to buck up on a lot of things. i don't hope for an easy life(lol? that will never happen) but i really hope that i'm able to handle the obstacles that are coming on my way.

"it's been some time since i last updated my blog". yes, the same phrase everytime but life's getting more busy than ever everyday. at least that's how it seems during normal school days.

yesterday marked the last day of term 1. was extremely relieved right after i've submitted one of my design assignment. i also had my first official meeting with my fellow MCs. it wasn't bad for a start i guess.

i've been doing some stupid things besides being extremely occupied with the workload. i know i shouldn't be doing them but recently, i've been telling myself that i want to learn to trust someone. up to this moment, i didn't get the chance to. or maybe, i shouldn't even thought of that in the first place. so what am i gonna do now?

today was my first day of work. and also my last day of work. sounds pathetic? i know right....! my real intention was to accompany xin ying and maybe extra income? but what can i really get in four hours? hahaha, but at least better than nothing right?

starting of the day wasn't that good for me. didn't feel that good the moment i woke up and some things didn't go smoothly even before xin ying and i started working. i didn't blame her though. however, overall i think it was a good experience. all we had to do was to serve some tidbits and drinks to the customers. dinner after which with xin ying and we talked about some things. :) i really hope that she won't feel so sad anymore asap.

i guess it's time for me to update something more proper this time round. today, some of my classmates and i went to the OldSchool which is located somewhere at Dhouby Ghaut. i was super reluctant to get out of my house initially but managed to fight all the devil in me. all of us was complaining about the really humid weather and also the location of OldSchool itself. for sure, the most challenging part for us was to walk pass the metal flooring and also to climb stairs that are worth about four stories high.

basicly, we managed to look at some exhibitions there. the exhibition place wasn't that big though but somehow i kinda liked it. the main exhibition is about designs, animations and maybe also videos. some of the artworks and designs there are really cute and that was what attracted me most! overall, i guess it's a worthwhile visit to OldSchool, especially when we weren't with lecturers! haha :D

anyway, today some of the avengers and i went to the bbq pit as mentioned at this title. the location was seriously insane! imagine having to walk for 45 minutes before reaching our destination! i did not encounter much problems when we were heading towards there but i really had a hard time enduring the distance. to make it worst, i was really super hungry. good thing i managed to buy mcspicy meal to make me stop whining.

#randomfact: never irritate me when i'm hungry or tired. or in most cases, both!

i couldn't agree more on the tweet above that was written by jane. it reminded me of someone, someone whom i never thought would still lingers in my mind. he made me feel special, twice. but i guess there will be no third time. i don't him in this situation. i don't think knowing him was a mistake. it is actually a really good experience. it's just sad that we don't even talk anymore now. i miss those times.

anyway, the first week of school has passed. so far, it's not even hectic yet and i think i enjoyed too much this week. hopefully i will be more serious when the 2^nd week begins. there are assignments but i am still procrastinating. sigh. i must change, i really must change.

met these people yesterday. even though not everyone attended the meeting, i think i had fun. after the SPICE training, met captain planet in school for lunch before heading to kallang for our ice skating session. it was fun and i guess i'm the worst 'student' there but oh well. at least i know how to balance myself.... A BIT. hahaha. after which played at the arcade awhile. the most epic moments were Hidir's para-para dance of 5-seconds-of-fame and Fifi's Daytona Racing amongst the clouds. most of them went home while i accompanied Hidir, Fifi and Danial went for a short shisha session. lol no, i don't smoke 0:)

i'll be meeting avengers for a karaoke session at kallang tomorrow. really look forward to the fun we gonna have later. :D

5/1'09 Reunion Chalet :D [5 April - 7 April]

overall, i really enjoyed the gathering. i thought that i'm going to be quite bored there but i was wrong. the chalet was at NSRCC and i think that the interior itself is very nice. i might consider that chalet again for it's uniqueness. the second day was the most epic. was busy having fun all day with my 5/1. really look forward to the next gathering. i'm missing them already.

anyway, my previous 2 blog posts were rather depressing. i really hope that nothing much would affect my life negatively. been through lots of downs and really waiting for the rainbow to appear.

despite the fact that i kinda disappointed with FOC. i still love my children dearly, they are an awesome bunch!

there are only 2 bedrooms with 2 beds in a bangalow. (the downside of this chalet)

the toilets are awesome shit. the nicest toilet that i've been in a chalet. :D

overall, i guess i pretty much enjoyed myself during the whole time. i've lost quite an amount of money but i gained quite a lot of friends. at least it's worth all the amount of effort i've contributed. i'm sorry but for this blog entry, i decided not to be optimist because i'm just purely disappointed.

the whole journey of the camp itself, was not a smooth ride. many things happened. there are many times when i felt that the entire pressure was on me. there were times when i felt that i did not do a good job. there was a time when i felt that i totally failed my role as a leader of my group. there were times when i almost breakdown but i still managed to put a brave front.

all in all, i guess i am not too satisfied with my own performance. if only there was more team work, then i guess i won't be feeling this way. like what many others say, there's no use saying "if only this.... if only that...." but really, shit HAPPENS and it is inevitable. so seriously, SHUT YOUR TRAP.

i am not a camp person to begin with and some also questioned me on why i even bother involving myself with this. the only aim i had in mind was to help my own DMIT club and that's that. the second reason i guess was to make new friends.

now, can i have my life back?

p/s: just in case u guys might think that my blog title and my blog post are contradicting. overall, the camp is awesome. many had fun, a lot.

I am currently at my uncle's crib while updating this blog entry from my handphone. 1 good thing about having internet access from phone(no matter how sucky your phone is).

It's been about 1 week since my last blog post. I guess, everything pass really fast. Without realising, i'm done with 3 weeks of training before the actual camp which falls on this coming wednesday officially. The last week of training was the best so far. We didn't really get tough trainings, mostly are activities and amazing race. On the last day, which was yesterday, we got the most toughest training and at the same time most happening one. We had our GL wedding yesterday(that is if u get what i mean.) I think i'm alright with my partner and i really hope that everything gonna go well on the camp day itself.

Also, we SP students got back our results on last tuesday. All i can say is, i'm extremely thankful with the results i got. I even had a nightmare the day before and in that nightmare, i failed a subject and was extremely worried that i had to repeat another semester. Despite the fact that i did extremely badly for my econs, i'm still able to continue my dipplus programme. I guess i shall just continue trying unless i really officially fail any of my dipplus module.

For now, i really don't know how to feel. To be exact, i don't know the right feeling that i should feel now. I just hope that everything that i'm doing now is worthwhile.

Yes, i admit that i have no life. But i guess it's better than any further heartbreaks.

DMIT FOC Prep Camp 16-18 March

finally, i'm done with 1 week of training and 1 week of prep camp. overall, i think it was quite tough yet fun. i think i bond more with my fellow GL mates and i guess i have learn them more. there are some things that i should improve myself with. something which i shall not disclose it here but for sure, i will work on it.

my first day of prep camp was quite a surprising one. i really didn't expect them to wake us up and gave us 5 minutes to pack our things and meet them down at the foyer. and the next thing i realised was that, we were doing some physical training with our eyes semi-open. it was quite an achievement i must say since i have never done that in my entire life. after which, we met the DPA students and interacted with them. honestly, i had fun interacting with them and i love my own group that my teammates and i took care of. at night, we did some physical training again and some other things which i couldn't recall.

on the second day, i swear it was really a slack one. there was not any physical training at all. half of the day was spent on amazing race outside the school and at the night time(more like morning, at 1am), we played a game around the school. it's one of the BEST game so far.

on the third day, started of with PT again. i didn't managed to do all of them since i started feeling giddy and my vision suddenly blurred. the GLTs were nice though. one of them bought m&m chocolate while the other bought coke. we also went to sentosa to play some games. the whether was so humid and the sun was scorching hot. the games were quite fun. ended our day in school. something happened and i instantly broke down. shouldn't describe it here i guess. what has happened, can't be unchanged. i just hope that everything goes well for my aunt. i miss her, i really do.

today marks the 5th day of (GLT)Group Leader Training. so far, everything seems alright. maybe because of the breaks that we had, which overall considered not to be tough. so far, we only had 1 full day training on monday and the rest of the days, training ended at 1pm and 11am.

although the fact that the trainings were going easy on us, our body definitely still suffer quite a number of aching everywhere around the body. i really hope that i am still able to survive for the rest of the trainings, prep camp and the actual camp itself.

so, after a long time busy-ing with school and my own stuffs, finally a day spent with family. i still miss my secondary days whereby my family and i will go out almost every weekend for lunch. but oh well, things changed. or parhaps, my life now is totally different and i can see that my family members are trying hard to adapt to it. we are supposed to go for a holiday trip on march but due to my busy schedule, they actually canceled it. felt bad but can't helped it. GL training is quite presurrising. but it seems like i have no other choice but to suck up to it. sucks much? maybe.

lol! exaggerated much. anyway, my family, relatives and i had dinner at somewhere at bedok. it's an annual thingy that will always happen at my mom's side. dinner was pretty much awesome despite the fact that some of the dishes were fucked up. like, some were too bland, or salty, or sweet. some of the dishes that we had was chilli crab, black pepper crab, cereal prawns, butter prawns, some fish thingy, rice and noodle. sounds a lot but we actually shared almost all of them. a bit of everything yet fulfilling :D

i'm really looking forward to other outings, if there is any. i need some life, like seriously. can't be the whole time gaming. tsk.

it's been a long time since i last updated a post. oh well. life has been crazy for me. it's no longer hectic. yesterday marked my last day of school. sat for my econs paper and guess what? i totally got own by it. the day before, i submitted 2 assignments and guess what? somehow i screwed all of them too. this wasn't what i want. this wasn't what i plan. the more i expect things, the more i'm gonna screw them.

one thing for sure, i will have to bid farewell to my dipplus.

another thing for sure, my gpa gonna screw damn bad.

i'm left with about 1 week before my actual foc gl training starts. if i'm gonna screw that too, i'm better dead than alive. right now, i'm looking forward to nothing. nothing seems interesting anymore. even the game that i usually play is also going against me. everything's demoralising.

oh well. so i guess it's time. yes, it's time to stop having fantasies and get back to this harsh reality. last time, i've been wondering on how long those happy things will last and i think i knew it now. i kept telling myself not to expect things. However at times, i just couldn't help it. as a human being, that's one of my weaknesses.

hectic life yet a worthwhile one. monday marks the day when school resumes after chinese new year break. monday marks my first ever formal attire presentation ever. monday also marks the first day of PGLs(probational group leader) for FOC(freshmen orientation camp) training. basicly, i did quite a few things on monday which actually impressed myself. maybe it's a good starting, maybe. monday was the best FOC training/bonding ever, i swear. it was so fun that i actually forgot to be mentally prepared of the future training. thus, i was kinda struggling during the next training on wednesday. however, comparing my character and the achievements i made on wednesday itself, i am happy with the result.

to be honest, i don't know how to react right now. part of me is telling me to be greatful but another part of me keeps reminding me of the unhappy stuffs. it is also distracting me from writing a proper blog entry. oh well, i hope to update more happy things after this, i hope.

Finally found a good time to blog! Life has been hectic, EXTREMELY hectic.

Firstly, I would like to thank everyone who has put in effort wishing me for my birthday. Also, I want to thank those who had put in EXTRA effort in making my birthday a memorable one. I couldn't thank more, seriously.

To be honest, my birthday this year was more than what I expected. I don't expect much as you know. A birthday wish can really make me happy, I swear.

On my birthday date itself, I thought things would be very sucky. Thinking about staying for at least 12 hours on a Saturday, on your birthday is definitely NOT cool. However, my (Heats Of Shuttle)HOS III teammates made it happening. There was a surprise celebration. They bought me a cake and sang for me a birthday song. I was speechless, totally. That was the first surprise birthday celebration. How can it not be memorable? There are some pictures taken on that day and I'm still waiting for them before uploading. :)

On 30th January, I helped Amalina and Shannon with filming. It was quite fun. They also, bought me 2 slice of cake. Thank you! Amalina and I went to G2000 at Marina Square after which. We have to find formal attire for our EPI presentation. Since Ibrahim was also working there on that say, we met him so that we can get some discount. I was surprised to see the bill actually. It was way cheaper than what it was supposed to be. Then I realised Ibrahim actually gave me his voucher as a belated birthday present. Yet again, another surprise. Thank you Ibrahim :)

Today, on 2nd February 2011, I met Safiah, Diyana and Reyme. I truly sorry for being extremely late(late by an hour.. -,-?!?!?!!! I should kill myself). Safiah baked for me extremely nice cupcakes. Diyana and Reyme made for me a really nice video. I am really really touched. Thank you guys for all of that, seriously. I love you guys :).

tea break~ time for some cupcakes.

yums.. made by the food people. and it's seriously nice. didn't try eating it with the icing since they said it's extremely sweet. lol.

but nevertheless, good effort. i remembered the time when i had my o level food and nutrition practical. i actually baked muffin. my teacher had to use some tool to actually break it. yes, the muffins were THAT hard! -,- i suck at baking but of course, i will still learn until i improve.

there are actually four different games that the actually actually can win points for their own groups. only managed to take two of them.

-there were prize presentation and photo taking session. didn't managed to snap them though o.0-
even teacher was quite stressed out yesterday. the crowd was a quite rowdy one -,-

bye bye kids! *waves* hope i won't have to handle this kind of people again. hahahahah!
this boy is very greedy. he actually tried to take EVERYTHING back with him before meeting his parents. -,-

Preparation for ONOW!

today, my classmates and i did some preparation for our ONOW CIP this coming saturday. unfortunately, i am in charge of the games. i don't really agree on this at first but ended up accepting this responsibility since i had no choice. one word to describe today. CHAOTIC! the games that my teammates and i plan out were all very simple but ended up damn messed up! now, i have a bad feeling for the event itself. but whatever it is, i hope things will go smoothly. :(

maybe the word 'hate' is too strong, just dislike. to be frank, quite a lot since i'm very particular on most things.

that look yesterday, i will remember it for life. i remembered getting that same exact treatment not too long ago last year. i ignored it once, thinking that it wasn't you and i pushed the blame all to myself. now, no doubt, you are simply mean. that feeling i got, observing you yesterday. THAT feeling, i shall not forget.

my heart is slowly turning itself into a rock. it's no longer an ice whereby heat is still able to melt it away.

whatever it is, i am not going to waste much of my time thinking about it.

to be frank, something inside dies a little when i read them. i just realised how naive i was. initially, i thought that something gone wrong somewhere and maybe something can be fixed. and so, i give it a second try. by now, it's no longer a mistake but a decision. things like this made me doubt people even more.

it hurts. it stings.

what i can do now? envy others from far and pretend everything's alright.

anyway, last monday while filming, we managed to chillax a bit and thus, spending some time playing with kinect at jane's house. watch ibrahim, funny can??? hahahaha! he doesn't allow us to post at facebook, so yea, i gues i should just put it here.

for the first time:-
1. i went school for seven consecutive day
2. in a week, 3 of 7 days, i reached home after midnight
3. in this sem, i skipped my programming class

i guess this term by far is the WORST despite the fact that i have always been very busy with school in other terms. not forgetting, it's ONLY my first year in SP. i wonder how my life going to be like in the subsequent year. seriously, i almost gave up and noone will ever understand what i've gone through and felt for this whole week. at times i felt as if i'm a robot. come to think of it, even robot needs a fully charged battery, else a constant electricity source to start a new day.

sorry for whining so much here.

looking at the three points that i've highlighted above, i actually tried to look on the brighter side of things. let's see....

1. maybe something new in life? (somehow it doesn't makes sense)
2. my parents actually trusted and understand my situation on why i came back late. on one of the day, my dad even fetch me from yew tee back to pasir ris and i really appreciated that, a lot!
3. for this, really, i couldn't think of anything that i gained from skipping lesson. total disappointment.

whatever it is, i am still trying. hopefully nothing worst would happen.
